If you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you'll know that I'm Pro-Valentine's Day. It's not my favorite holiday, my heart belongs to Halloween, but I love the sentiment of Valentine's Day. Thatboy and I still tell each other "I love you" multiple times a day. I call Thatmom daily. But I'm not as good at remembering to tell my friends every day how important they are. And I'm betting you're the same way. So a day where I can share my appreciation for the important people in my life is always welcome. And those important people include you!!! So as a Valentine's Day treat, I wanted to share my love for you, my readers. Those I know and those I've never actually met. Those who leave sweet thoughts, and those who flip through while drinking their coffee.
My gift to you is a special Valentine's Day care package. Complete with a cd of some of my favorite romantic songs, a heart shaped cookie cutter, and:
A fondue set! Because nothing says "I love you" like dripping cheese. (or chocolate, if you're into that kind of thing.)
And if I find any other goodies in the next week, I'll probably throw them in there too.
To win, all you need to do is follow the rafflecopter link and instructions below to enter! The contest ends on Valentine's Day, next Friday 2/14, and the winner will be contacted by email.
I'm SO in.
ReplyDeleteWe don't do Valentine's Day, really - but I have dreams of a hotel room with white things in it. A tv and remote. Blackout curtains. A big spa tub. And room service. But, at 36 weeks pregnant... I kind of want those things... alone!!
I'll tell the hubs I love him, though....
I guess chocolate is as good of reason as any to come out of the woodwork and post! We won't be doing anything special as my husband is going on a "man trip" with some of his buddies that weekend, but I will be helping out at my daughter's party at school and then making my girls a nice dinner.
ReplyDeleteWe always eat a "fancy" homemade meal on V-Day, and this year, since the husband is working to cover for the guys who are earlier along in their relationships and still need to take their girlies out to dinner, I'll probably do a scallop dish. Might make some baked goods for his co-workers too, depends on my motivation!
ReplyDeleteMy mom & I are going out to eat at our favorite place because I'm single & my dad will be out of town
ReplyDeleteLove this giveaway! We usually stay home for V-day and make a really special meal. I imagine we'll do the same this year, especially with Lu at home! I'm not sure what we're going to make though. Something with strawberries for sure!
ReplyDeleteAww you are the sweetest!! The.Boy and I are staying in this V-Day and just eat a good happy dinner together and probably watch a movie. Simple, good stuff.

ReplyDeleteWe aren't doing anything fancy this year. Celebrating with a homecooked meal at home!
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for treats! We've been going low key on Valentines day since, well, forever. Usually cook at home and we will probably watch Olympics (after I go to boot camp class). My gosh I'm boring! I should do a fun giveaway - you'll probably win it so really I should just get fun things you'd like :)
