Somehow "I told you so" just doesn't quite say it.

So it's been a while since I've last written, and a lot has happened. Firstly, my computer went through total malfunction mode. Day 2 of class this semester it just stopped working. Which totally sucked. So after hours and hours and hours of messing with it I determined that my hard drive was ka-pooey (I'm almost certain that's the technical term). So Dell sent me a new one. . . which didn't work. Except this time cause I am a smarty pants I figured out that I needed to reinstall windows, but Dell kept insisting I didn't. But VOILA as soon as I did my computer started working nifty-kifty. (Except I am missing a bajillion fonts and templates and clip art...weird right?) Then all of a sudden my AC power adapter doesn't work... and I electrocuted myself in class monkeying around with it. But Dell sent me a new one, so now I am up and running again.
2 weeks ago was San Diego restaurant week and it was tons o' fun. I went out one night with Jon, one with Des, Gen and Tine, and one night with Esther. I love having people around to do things with. I also like the mix between spending time with Jon, with UCLA friends, and my new USD friends. I've even learned to play poker and am having such fun with my new group who are the nicest people! And we sure now how to have a good time.
So in other news, its been wonderful to spend every weekend with Jon. He's happy with his new job, but lately he's been complaining that he actually has to work. I keep explaining that's why they call it work, but he still doesn't quite get it. He's a smart boy though so he should figure it out fairly soon. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day last night. I drove up to Orange County after school and we went out to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Their decor is already all red, so it was romantic, but not formal at all which was nice. After, we got a bottle of red wine and drank it while we did our work. Jon had his briefs to read, and I had homework. It was nice spending the night with him on a school night.
But this morning I paid for it. Normally it takes 50 min to get from Jon's to my place. Today it took 3 1/2 hours. I missed the first part of my first class. But other people did too, so I guess i shouldn't feel so bad.
