Friendship

I live for the weekends. Which is actually funny given the fact that lately my weekends have been just as packed as my week days. But it's hard to complain about being busy on the weekends when I'm spending them with friends. And it seems as though every free weekend from here to eternity keeps getting packed with more plans, more friends. It's enough to make a girl blush!

My guide to entertaining friends is to keep it simple, keep it tasty, and keep it pretty. This little dip meets all three requirements. Keeping moderation in mind, I served it in small containers, because dip is one of those things you can just keep eating and totally lose track of the portions. But aside from being practical, the small ramekins are also adorable. I love the bright pop of the red tomatoes, the green lettuce, and the orange cheese. Although orange cheese isn't an amazing description, now is it? At least I can sleep easy knowing it's actual cheese and not "cheez" or some other over processed product masquerading as food.
